Episode 072: Envision Your Life

Hey friends, welcome back to Living with Loss. In this episode, I’m sharing a practice that changed my life – envisioning what you truly want and bringing it into reality. When you're navigating grief and loss, it's easy to feel lost and disconnected. But what if you could harness your creative power to reshape your life?

In This Episode, You’ll Learn:

Clarity on Your Desires:

  • Identify what you REALLY want and embrace your unique desires.

  • Understand the importance of wanting what you want, even if it seems weird.

Practical Tools:

  • Meditation: Get still and quiet to let your true desires bubble up.

  • Journaling: Notice what comes up during meditation and put it into words.

  • Visualization: Picture the feelings and outcomes you desire and radiate them out.

  • Vision Boards: Create a visual representation of your dreams using images that evoke a true desire.

Moving Forward with Grief:

  • Learn how grief changes your perspective and how to navigate through it to find joy again.

  • Understand that grief is an emotion from a change or loss, and grieving is the process of learning who you are after the loss.

Actionable Steps:

  • BE-DO-HAVE Model: Figure out who you need to become to live the life you envision.

  • Daily Actions: Incorporate actions into your life that align with the person you want to become.

  • Embrace Detours: Be open to how your vision unfolds and welcome life's unexpected changes.

Personal Stories:

  • I share my own journey of rediscovery after a breakup, how I used meditation and journaling to find clarity, and the powerful impact of creating a vision board.
